Windows Smashed In Downtown Portland During Memorial

PORTLAND, Ore–Fires set in trash cans, exploding fireworks and broken windows marked the memorial for Sean Kealiher. A self- proclaimed activist was shot and killed 2 years ago. During last nights event groups splintered off from the Justice center.  Windows were broken at the Moda Tower at 2nd and Alder.  Two large windows of the Post Office at 1st and Main were also smashed.  People were lying in the street near the Morrison bridge.

Kealiher was shot to death in 2019.  He was 23 years old .  He was hit by an SUV as he left Cider Riot, a Bar in Northeast Portland .  Gunshots were fired at the SUV .  Kealiher was struck .  He was pinned between the vehicle and the wall of a building. No arrests have been made in the case.
