Suspect Surrenders In Gaston Stabbing

A man was stabbed this Saturday morning in Gaston. He went to the hospital to be treated for his injuries and staff there notified the Washington County Sheriff’s Office. Police surrounded the home on Church Street near Trail Street for several hours trying to get the suspect to surrender. After getting a warrant, they went inside and found he was not there. The suspect is identified as 30 year-old Aaron Platas, who lived with the victim.
