Portland’s Unemployment Rate Unchanged In October

PORTLAND, Ore. – The unemployment rate in the Portland-metro area was unchanged in October at 3.4 percent.
However, that number is lower than a year ago, when it was 4.4 percent.
Employers cut 3,200 jobs last month after a gain of 4,800 jobs in September.
