Portland’s Unemployment Rate At 3.3 Percent In July

PORTLAND, Ore. – The unemployment rate in Portland was 3.3 percent in July.
The Oregon Employment Department says that’s essentially unchanged from 3.4 percent in June and down from 3.9 percent a year ago.
Almost 49,000 area residents were unemployed last month, that’s 6,000 fewer than a year ago.
