Oregon’s Weekly COVID-19 Report Shows Decreases In Cases and Hospitalizations

PORTLAND, Ore. – The Oregon Health Authority’s Weekly COVID-19 report released Wednesday shows decreases in daily cases and hospitalizations, but an increase in deaths.

Between Monday, September 13th and Sunday, September 19th, there was a 10 percent decrease in cases, new hospitalizations dropped from 592 to 579 and virus-related deaths jumped from 120 to 148.

Oregon’s percentage of positive tests was 10.5 percent.

That’s the lowest rate in six weeks.
