New Fire Prompts Evacuation Orders in Clackamas County

CANBY, Ore.– It started as a brush fire just after midnight near South Highway 99 and South End Road, north of Canby. But it quickly grew. The Clackamas County Sheriff’s Office has issued Go Now evacuation orders for people from South End, from Highway 99 East to Reflection Lane, West to Milepost 16 on Highway 99 East, and South to South End Road.There are also B set evacuation orders for the east side of South South End Road from Highway 99 East to Reflection Lane. Part of Northbound Highway 99 East is closed between South Haines Road Canema Bluff, between Oregon City and Canby.
