Former Beaverton Mayor Sentenced To Six Months In Federal Prison

BEAVERTON, Ore. – Former Beaverton Mayor Denny Doyle is sentenced to six months in federal prison and five years supervised release.

The sentence comes after his guilty plea to illegally possessing child pornography.

The 74-year-old also must pay $22,000 in restitution to victims.

He was arrested last year after police were notified by a local business that a USB thumb drive was found with the porn and other pictures.

Doyle admitted the drive was him and that he had downloaded child porn from his home computer.
