Rescues Keep Coast Guard Busy
The Coast Guard has been very busy with rescues so far this weekend. A boat was taking on water around 30 miles West of the Columbia Sunday morning. Crews were able to get a pump on the boat and help them patch it up. 2 divers and their crew of 2 also had to be rescued from Smith Island in Washington Saturday. 2 other divers had to be rescued from Island Rock near Port Orford Saturday after their boat lost it's anchor and drifted away. It was found by the Coast Guard Sunday and returned.
