Police Find Mother Of Three Kids Found In Shed

Portland police have located the mother of three young children who were found abandoned in a shed in SE Portland. The kids all under the age of four were found on the property of the vacant home in the 79 hundred block of SE Rhine. They believe the boy is three years old, the girl is two and the youngest girl may be anywhere between 8 and 15 months old. A neighbor called police after hearing voices coming from the shed. A number of homeless people were on the property and told police a woman believed to be the kids' mother left them there the night before. The kids were hungry but not hurt and are now in protective custody.
