District And Reynolds Teachers To Meet Today

Change of plans in Troutdale. Talks between striking teachers and the Reynolds School District had been set to resume Tuesday. But informal talks were held Thursdsay afternoon and the two sides will head back to the bargaining table today at noon. They issued a statement saying the goal is to reach a settlement today and have students return to the classroom on Tuesday. Talks are being held at an undisclosed location. The strike began Monday morning. Schools have been closed all week. Seniors attended an appreciation breakfast yesterday and met with staffers to see what they need to do to graduate on time.
