Sketch of OSU Attacker Released

Oregon State Police have put together this sketch of a man believed to have attacked a woman near the OSU campus in Corvallis.

The 20-year-old, who is not a student, says the man ran up from behind and hit her on the back of the head around 10:00pm Tuesday near SW 30th and Campus Way.  She was knocked to the ground, where the man tried to pin her down and take off her clothes.  She was able to fight back, hitting him in the face before he finally ran away.

She describes the man as being in his early to mid 20's, around 6' tall with a stocky build.  He had short dark hair and bushy eyebrows.  Police say he also likely has an injured nose or black eye from the encounter.
