Firefighters pulling the woman free

A Southwest Portland woman has some explaining to do on how she got herself in quite the predicament.  She was wedged in a space about eight inches across for more than fours this morning.

She was yelling for help and seen climbing on a wall before falling between two buildings at 12th and Columbia.  She landed between the Gretchen Kafoury Commons and an adjacent building to the east.

After first trying a rope rescue, firefighters used saw to cut a hole into the wall of a parking garage.  That took hours before they could pull the woman through that opening, thanks to the help of some soapy water.  She was cold, tired and embarrassed, but not injured.
